The East African country of Rwanda has been striving hard to recover from the strife and genocide that happened 23 years ago. It has been doing a good job of that, going by the number of developments and  policies churned out by the government and the people.

In its quest to continue to preach love and unite the people, April 7th is set aside to  honor those who died in the genocide, hoping, praying and working hard for a peaceful country.

The theme of this year’s week long remembrance is; ”Remember the Rwanda Genocide-Fight Genocide Ideology-Build on our Progress”. Expectedly, Rwandans around the world joined in the commemoration.

One of the approaches Rwanda is using in moving on

is also creating opportunities for women to thrive in various capacities.

Rwanda today…
